Henry Jones Co-operative, Ltd., jam and fruitt preserving group oiperettng in Australiia, New Zealand, and South Africa, lifted turn-over to a record £2om in the year to October 31, the chairman (Mr A. W. Palfreyman) told shareholders yesterday at the annual meeting. Mr Palfreyman also announced that he would be retiring in the coming year. Mr Palfreyman has reached

his ninetieth birthday and has spent 73 years with the company as a director and founder.

He said that when he joined the company turn-over was £lOO9 a month.
