Huntington, was tried for the first time as a Sheffield Shield opener today and made more than half of Victoria’s score of 315 for four at stumps on the first day. Huntington made 164, his highest first-class score. J. Potter (59) and Huntington put on 147 in 131 minutes for the second wicket, and Huntington and R. Cowper (45) added 101 in 90 minutes for the third wicket
India Leading By 158 Runs (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) BOMBAY, January 24. India finished the third dav of the second test against England yesterday with a lead of 158 runs and nine second innings wickets in hand. There was no play today, and the match continues tomorrow and ends on Sunday. Scores: India 300 and 91 for one. England 233
