Fall From Fire Engine

When he fell from a fire engine which was speeding to a grass fire in Palmside street, Spreydon, at 12.39 p.m. yesterday a fireman, Mr M Fraser, of Adrian place. Shirley, suffered head and hand abrasions. He fell from the machine at the intersection of Rose and Palmside streets. He was taken by a St. John ambulance to the Christchurch Hospital, but was discharged after treatment.
