Three people were killed and 24 injured yesterday when a crowded tourist bus careered off the Mount Macedon road and ploughed through a stone wall into a large tree about half a mile north of Mount Macedon township, 38 miles from Melbourne. Two of the injured passengers were in a critical condition last night in Royal Melbourne Hospital Most of the parsengers were elderly people, between 60 and 70 years old.
