HEATED TURF
When the All Blacks play the test against Scotland at Murrayfield they will have the best playing surface of any of the major grounds in Britain.
Three years ago the Scottish Rugby authorities put a network of copper wiring underneath the ground so that it could be heated before major matches. The wiring was done after heavy snowfalls or frosts had made the grounds almost unplayable and some matches had to be cancelled.
