N.Z. MUTTON IN JAPAN

Calendar To Boost Sales

The Meat Board has had an eye-catching calendar for 1964, prepared and printed in Tokyo, distributed throughout Japan by local meat traders. Each of the four pages of the calendar has a typical New Zealand rural scene in colour, together with a Japanese text and illustration of a mutton dish recipe suitable for the season.

There is a symbol on each page denoting that New Zealand mutton is the king of meats.

Dates of festive holidays observed in Japan are indicated.
