Creditors’ Meeting Adjourned
As there was no quorum, the Official Assignee (Mr P. D. Clancy) adjourned sine die a meeting of creditors of Henry George Gilbert Kingsbury, a gardener. Kingsbury was adjudged bankrupt on December 3. Mr Clancy said that Kingsbury's statement of affairs showed his total debts to be £376 2s 3d and no assets.

January 4: Open swimming carnival, Alexandra. Wanaka and St. Clair Golf Clubs’ open tournaments, to January 5. January 9 and 10: Cricket, Canterbury B v. Metropolitan. January 11: Lakes District open golf tournament, Arrowtown.
January 23: Plunket Shield cricket, Ota go-Central Districts (to January 25). January 24: Clutha Valley District High School anniversary celebrations. January 25: Dunedin festival week begins (to February 2). Caledonian Games with visiting Australian athletes. Otago country swimming championships, Alexandra. January 28 and 29: Otago swimming championships, Dunedin. Otago A. and P. Society festival show. January 29: Festival golf tournament begins. January 30: Forbury Park Trotting Club’s festival meeting. Also February 1. February 1: Sponsored athlete tour begins at Dunedin. Otago golf championships begin.
