Gaoled For Terrorism

The French State Security Court in Paris today sentenced 56 members of the Secret Army Organisation to prison terms ranging from 18 months to 10 years. They were blamed for terrorist activities last year in Mostaganem, Algeria. Two men were sentenced to death and six others to terms up to 20 years’ in their absence.- Charges against 10 others were quashed. The gang was held responsible for 129 murders. 111 bomb attacks and 36 cases of arson.
