EXPERT ADVICE ON BEAUTY
Book By “Vogue” Editor "Good Looks, Good Grooming" or "How to Look Younger and Richer" is the appealing title of a book on fighting the battle against tell-tale signs of increasing age. The author, Elizabeth Kendall, has been beauty editor of “Vogue" magazine for eight years and takes a practical attitude to “staying as young as you are." The guide to beauty is mainly for women who have passed their first bloom of youth and for those who have lost confidence in their appearance.
“Beauty may change, but good looks can last all your life." she says, and goes on to explain sensibly how every woman can make the best of what she has.
Drawing on a wide experience in the field of beauty, : Miss Kendall discusses skin, 'hair, slimming. plastic surgery, clothes that flatter and how to keep feeling fit. She includes a most useful chapter on how to give clothes a longer life. Written in a chatty style with the aim of helping women keep their good looks. Miss Kendall should win a host of grateful friends with her advice.
The book, of 159 pages, is attractively illustrated by Ann Buekmaster and is published by J. M. Dent and Sons.
