Honourable Son For Victoria
Honourable Son, the first winner sired by the champion, Caduceus, is to do his future racing in Melbourne. Honourable Son is booked to leave today from Bluff for Melbourne. Honourable Son should be a good winner in Australia for his Templeton owners, Mr and Mrs D. R. Moore. He has paced splendid races without any luck so far this season and at his most recent appearance he came home well from the tail of the field at the three furlongs for sixth in the Australasian Handicap, won by Bluff, at Addington on August 23. Honourable Son is a four-year-old stallion by Caduceus from Royal Routine. He is certain to attract considerable interest in Melbourne, where his sire was a favourite.
