ARAMOANA BOOKINGS

Many To Come South (N.Z. Prtss Association) BLENHEIM. Dec. 11. It appears the South Island will be invaded by North Islanders in the Christmas holidays if passenger bookings on the rail-road ferry Aramoana can be taken as an indication.

The Railways Department has advised that 10 a.m. sailings from Wellington to Picton on December 21, 23, 24, 26, 27 and 28, and January 10 and 11 have been fully booked, while 2.20 pjn. sailings from Pioton on January 4 and 11 are similarly booked. However, accommodation is available for passengers on all other scheduled sailings, including the 6.40 p.m. from Wellington on December 21, 23, 24, 26 and 27, and the 11 p.m. from Pioton on January 11.
