P.M. Hospital Friends

Many articles of use to the hospital, and for the comfort of patients, had been made by the sewing and knitting groups of the Friends of Princess Margaret Hospital, according to a report from tae annual meeting. A creche was open on Sundays, and vestibule floral arrangements maintained. A good stock of games suitable for patients who needed occupational therapy had been built up. A posy and a note of welcome was received by each student nurse arriving at the hospital to begin her career. Generous donations of goods from several city firms had enabled members to raise almost £l3O at the annual stall last month. The following ofiicers were elected:—President, Mrs M. M. Curtis; vice-presidents, Mesdames A H. T. Rose, G. J. Francis. Z. E. Currie, N. E. Taylor and R. A. Hamilton; secretary, Mrs L. J. Oliver; treasurer, Mrs M. Symes.
