Yachts Set Off

(N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, Nov. 29. The New Plymouth Yacht Club’s first ocean race started tonight in flat, calm conditions. Five yachts are competing in the race to Gannet Island. 12 miles off the coast between Raglan and Kawhia. They carry food and water for six days.
