Trotting Derisions

Sir, —I would respectfully ! inform the secretary of the ■ New Zealand Trotting Conference that the lack of consistency m trotting decisions is the common topic of conversation among those who wish to see the sport prosper. No explanation was given at Motukarara as to why the two horses which galloped over the line were not disqualified. For some time after the race there was dissatisfaction among patrons. I am only one of many who resent this treatment. An investor is entitled to a fair deal. A private explanation to one person is not the answer to a problem causing so much concern among puzzled trotting supporters. —Yours, etc.. CLEAR VISION. November 20, 1963.
