Wall St. Slide Continues
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) NEW YORK, Nov. 18. The New York stock market fell sharply again today in very active trading, the Associated Press reported. It was the market’s third consecutive decline. Standard and Poor’s 500stock index fell 52 cents at 71.83 dollars. Based on this index, the quoted value of ajl stocks listed on the New York Stock Exchange Jost nearly 3000 million dollars. The Dow Jones 30-indus-trials index fell 5.15 to 734.85. Petroleums led the decline. I Steels, tobaccos, electrical | equipments, and most of the I chemicals and aircrafts I closed lower.
