BOYS’ BRIGADE AWARDS
Queen's Badges Presented Queen’s badges, the highest ' award in the Boys’ Brigade, were presented to Corporal C. S. Brown and Corporal L. R. Evans at a ceremony held by the 23rd Christchurch Company of the brigade recently. Other special awards made • were the Captain's Cup to ■ Sergeant J. Stanton, and ; best boy medal to Private D. , Fraser. A presentation was • also made on behalf of the company and the battalion ’ to Sergeant Stanton in hon- • our of his selection as this * year's Boys’ Brigade repre- ’ sentative in a party visiting Antarctica. The inspecting officer (Commander R. M. J. O’Connor) complimented the boys .' on the band display and the . novelty of other display items.
