National Service
A surge of registrations fori National Service military | training had come to hand in the last few days, said the' district superintendent of the P. Collins. Registrations this: year totalled 1806—54 more! than for last year. This year' there were 38 volunteers. ■ compared with 54 volunteers last year. ‘‘There appears to be a more general compliance with the requirements to register this year,” Mr Collins said. “There could be a few defaulters, but we shall catch up with them in due course."
