Lightning Kills Cow And Ewe
Minutes after a Lismore farmer had left one of his paddocks lightning killed a| cow and a ewe there during a thunderstorm on Sunday I evening. The farmer had returned to his house, five I chains away. The blast left a hole about four inches square alongside the Jersey cross milking cow. valued at £4O. The ewe was 15 yards away.
