Motor-Cyclist Killed

A motor-cyclist was fatally injured when he crashed into the back of a parked truck on Main road, Moncks Bay. at 6.20 p.m. on Saturday. He was: Vernon Royce William Williams, aged 25, married, a railway traffic assistant, of 19 James street. Redcliffs. Mr Williams was travelling from Sumner towards the city when the accident occurred. It is believed he lost control of the motor-cycle on a bend. The machine was extensively damaged. Mr Williams was attended by Dr. T. Kay. who found him dead. Mr Williams suffered head injuries and a broken neck, The truck was owned by Redmond Seque, of 218 Harewood road.
