Elections In Guiana

The British Guiana confer-, eftee ended yesterday without a date for the South American colony’s independence, but the British Government has decided that new elections Will be held next year under a system of proportional representation. After these there will be a second London Conference to settle remaining constitutional issues An independence date will also be fixed
