The Minister of Education (Mr Tennent) who has been admitted to hospital in Kuala Lumpur after suffering a coronary. Mr Tennent left Wellington last week to lead the New Zealand delegation at a meeting of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association. He is in the Lady Tempter Hospital. “Though this is a mild attack it is dear that Mr 'Tennent will have to rest for a period and it is not expected that he will be back in New Zealand for some weeks,” said the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) last night. “While he will not be able to take part in the election campaign, Mr Tennent’s candidature will not be affected.” —<P.A.)
