Murray Not Entered Three of this year’s Canterbury Freyberg Rose Bowl team R. C Murray. C W Caldwell and I. S. Harvey—have not entered for the Canterbury amateur championship which will be held at Shirley over Labour Day week-end.
Otherwise, the championship has drawn a field representative of the present golfing talent in Christchurch

Last year the championship was wen by Fixton, who beat D. F Williamson in the final. 2 and 1 In the semi-finals Foxton beat A R Timms (Otego* and Willimson beat E H. M Richards who has not entered this year
