Charolais Bull Imports

(NX. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 22.

There was a possibility of importing a limited number of Charolais bulls under special quarantine provisions so that there would be no risk of introducing exotic animal diseases, the Minister of Agriculture (Mr Taiboys) told Parliament today. He had been asked by Mr D. Maclntyre (Govt., Hastings) if he would consider having the department import a nucleus stud of Charolais cattle for testing their potential under New Zealand

conditions for the production of high-quality beef from dairy cows.
