Wheat Cheques Not Delayed

(NX. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct 22. There had been only one complaint by a grower over late payment tor wheat, said the Minister of Industries and Commerce (Mr Marshall) in Parliament today.

He had been asked by Mr J. B. Gordon (Govt., Clutha) if he was aware of growers having to wait two months from the date of dispatch before theiy received payment. Mr Marshall said the complaint came from Mr Gordon’s district and it arose from difficulty in identifying the line of wheat because the truck tallies were not supplied.
