At the annual meeting of the Research Institute of Launderers, Drycleaners and Dyers of New Zealand held at Wairakei recently, the following officers were elected: — President, Mr D. L. Taylor (Christchurch); executive, launderers, Messrs J. Mills (Nelson) and A. Kay (Wellington) ; drycleaners and dyers, Messrs- A. Amderson (Wellington) and R. J. Pryor (Papakura); ancillary member, Mr J. Wheeler (Auckland); hospital boards, Messrs A, F. Wilton (Wellington) and D. Home (Christchurch); council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Mr W. A. Joiner (Wellington) and Dr. Helen Thomson (Christchurch) ; Department of Health, M r N. G. Crossman (Wellington).
