The train of property fires continued on Tuesday. A disused store ait 12 Eversleigh street on property occupied by Mr George Shaw was severely damaged by fire which started in a wail of the 30fit by 14ft building. Firemen from the St. Albans and Central stations answered the call at 11.32 am. and saved half toe store.
Slight damage was done by a fire in the paper store of Weeks, Field, Ltd., Bdckerton street. The store is an 80ft by 200 ft concrete-block building. Firemen from the Central. end Woodston stations were called ait 11.50 a.m.
The washhouse of the caretaker’s home at toe Woolston School, Ferry road, was destroyed by fire at 1 p.m. The
