REEFTON BRIDGE TO BE LIT
(Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON. October 16. The National Roads Board today agreed to install lighting on the recentlyconstructed Inangahua river bridge, at Reeftan, at a cost of £1450. It decided to pay the full installation cost, and to subsidise annual matotenT*26 BOd rtinning charges of
Tte chief highways engineer (Mr F. A. Langbein) said that although the average daily total of 440 vehicles crossing the bridge was well short of the board’s minimum for lighting State highway structures, it wm believed that the board's policy covered the case.
