The Tasman Pulp and Paper Company, Ltd., will endeavour to increase its shipments of wood pulp to Japan in line with meeting increased demands from other customers “as and when the production situation permits.” A company spokesman said this today when he was commenting on the statement this week by Mr M. Hofftnen, commercial manager of the Forest Service, that Japan had made strong inquiries for wood pulp from New Zealand during the last two or three weeks.
