Indoor Basketball Two Unbeaten Teams Left

(N.Z. Press Association) NELSON, September 11. Wairarapa in the A grade, and Wanganui in the A grade reserve were the only remaining unbeaten teams after today’s games in the New Zealand women’s indoor basketball championships at Nelson. Results were:—A grade reserve: Hawera 43, Tauranga 29; Wanganui 35, Southland 30; Feilding 30. Whangarei 33: North Taranaki 52, Whangarei 38. A grade: Nelson 44, Canterbury 36: Wairarapa 55, Wellington 41; Otago 28, Palmerston North 26: Wellington 44, Palmerston North 42; Auckland 40, Canterbury 39.
