(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 12. It would be impracticable to build police stations and court houses back to back, the Minister of Police (Mr Eyre) told Mr P. Blartchfield (Opp., Westland) at question time in Parliament today. Mr Blanchfield put his question with the thought that prisoners could walk from the cells into the dock without toe trouble and risk of transporting them and to save the time of policemen. Mr Eyre said it was rare for the replacement of court houses and police stations to coincide.
