National Film Library

A meeting to discuss representations being made to the Minister of Education, Mr Tennent, that a branch of the National Film Library should be established in Christchurch, will be held ait the City Council Chambers on September 18 ait 4 p.m. The deputy-Mayor. Mr H. P. Smith, said that the project seemed worthy of discussion. It appeared that a branch would result in a substantial saving in time to South Island people, if such a service were made available.
