Persons Of Mature Age Wanted

The Christchurch Presbytery was asked to “recommend to the General Assembly tihat suitable persons of mature age be trained for the ministry and be appointed to the parishes" in a letter received at its monthly meeting from the Waikari parish.

Alber discussion the Presbytery decided to write thanking the parish tor its interest and concern at the shortage of ministere, and pointing out that although efforts have been made to find recruits tor the ministry in the older age group, few suitable have yet been fpund.
