(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) PERTH. Sept. 10. The Chief Justice of NewZealand, Sir Harold Barrowclough, attended the opening session of the conference of the chief justices of the supreme courts of Australia and New Zealand today in Perth. The Chief Justice of Western Australia, Sir Albert Wolff, said the purpose of the conference was to improve the working of the courts and to suggest to governments desirable amendments to law relating to contracts. property, and civil wrongs.
