N.Z. Dancer For Danish Ballet
A» 20-year-old Auckland ballet dancer, Miss Christine
Smith, has been granted an Arts Advisory Council bursary which will enable her to spend six months in Copenhagen with the Royal Danish
Ballet Miss Smith, who began her dancing career with the New Zealand Ballet Company, has danced for television and with the Australian Ballet Company.
From Denmark she intends to go to France and England, and to return to New Zealand in about a year. She then hopes to rejoin the New Zealand company.
