RACING Dashing Star Wins Foxton First Leg

PALMERSTON N„ Aug. 25. Dashing Star had an easy win in the M. B. Bergin Handicap at the Foxton Racing Club's meeting on Saturday Dashing Star took the lead turning tor home and beat Big Mac by a length and a half with the fast finishing Beau Kura third. King’s Cove finished too well for his rivals in the Robinson Handicap. He won comfortaibiy from That’s That with Kawera in third place. Racing was held in fine weather and the track was easy. There was a large attendance. Results:—
