Soccer Visit Definite

The only obstacle between New Zealand’s leading club soccer team. North Shore, of Auckland, playing a Technical Invitation XI has been removed. The acting-Mayor (Mr H. P. Smith) yesterday gave his permission for English Park to be used on Sunday, September 1, and for a gate to be taken. The match should be the highlight of the Canterbury soccer season as the North Shore team has nine Auckland representatives in its ranks and the squad for the Invitation XI includes all of the Canterbury team that is playing at Dunedin the previous day.
