FATHER-AND-SON CAMP
Y.M.C.A. Innovation At Wainui An innovation, by the Christchurch Y.M.C.A.. a father-and-son camp to help to bring fathers and sons together, will be held in the last week-end in November at the Y.M.C.A. camp site at Wainui. Already 80 fathers and sons have enrolled to go to the camp. Plans are being made for a South Island tournament for young adults in the Y.M.C.A. to be held in Christchurch during the Labour Day week-end. The main part of the programme will be a conference on the future of young adults in the Y.M.C.A. Competitions in physical education and religion will be held.
