Individual results (New Zealand names first): were: C. Waugh beat I Hocking. 9-6 9-6, 9-6; G. Bird beat L. Bruggy, 9-3, 9-2. 9-0; J. Walker beat V. James. 9-4. 7-9, 9-10. 9-7, 9-1; I. Easton beat J. Blyth, 9-0, 9-0. 9-1.
