Two inquiries were held after the Templeton Handicap at Addington on Saturday into incidents between the five and four furlong pegs At the first, into the breaking of Vanderford. it was found that Uno Command had moved out and struck the sulky wheel of Arizona Gal He came back on to Vanderford. causing the latter to break. No further action was taken. The second inquiry was into ah accident involving Lord Pelser, Toby Brigade and Sunhappy. It was found that the field was tightly packed at the time. There was slight movement from the inside horses and Toby Brigade’s hind leg came into contact, with Sunhappy’s sulky wheel. Lord Pelser, which was behind, was unable to avoid the accident. No further action was taken
