Lyttelton Concert Next Week The Addington Workshops W.E.A. Choir is to visit Lyttelton for a public concert next week. The choir has travelled widely to such centres as Westport and Nelson, but this is the first visit to Lyttelton. Dr. Vernon Griffiths, founder and patron of the choir, will be present for the concert and will conduct one bracket of songs. The choir’s conductor is Mr Charles Martin, a Christchurch musician and a former headmaster of the Lyttelton Main School. A varied programme has been prepared, including trumpet solos by John Snelgrove.
