SECONDARY SCHOOLS
B.H.S. Gains Supremacy Boys' High School gained supremacy among the first XV's of Christchurch secondary schools when it beat Cashmere High School. 25-5, in the final game of the series on Saturday. Boys’ High thus won the chief section of the heavy-weight grade in the secondary schools’ competitions. Of the six games played by the Boys’ High Ist XV. five were won and the other—against St. Andrew's—was drawn. St. Andrew's also drew with the second team. St. Bede's, but lost to Cashmere and Shirley Boys* High Schools Cashmere’s effort in gaining third equal place in the competition in its first season of participation was most commendable. The only co-educa-tlonal school of »’•«■ sever, contestants, Cashmere beat St. Andrew's. Xavit; College ai-d Shirley Boys' High School and lost by only three points to St. Bede’s.
