Athletics Japanese In Record Bid
(N Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND August 16. Five Japanese runners will take part in the Owairaka Athletic Club’s attempt on the world 20.000 metres record at the Lovelock track in Auckland on Saturday week The national cross-country champion, W. Baillie, announcing this yesterday, said that It was hoped to get the world one- : hour record on the way. [ The other Aucklanders running will be B. Magee. J. Julian N Scott R. Puckett and J Fenton
