Clifford Odets Dies At 57
(N.Z Press Assn.—Copyright) HOLLYWOOD, Aug. 15 Clifford Odets, famed Broadway playwright and motion picture director, died in hospital last night Mr Odets, whose connexion with the stage began when he played small roles in Broadway plays in the mid--19205, was the author of many well-known plays. He was 57.
