200 Killed In Landslide

About 1000 troops are digging for bodies in a landslide which swept 200 Nepalese villagers to their dearths The slide destroyed three villages on the slopes of a mountain 50 miles from Katmandu
Eight persons are reported in hospital in Trish uli. on the Nepal-Tibet border. The only other known survivor although injured, has refused to leave the ruin of his home Because of poor communications, the first help did not reach the disaster area until 48 hours after the landslide.
