B.H.S. AIMING AT DOUBLE

Title Decider At Cashmere

Contrary to the general view, the annual matches between Christchurch school first fifteens are played for an official championship.

The first fifteens—all of which play in the under 19 grade—are regarded by the schools as the heavy-weight grade of the secondary schools competitions, which are played on Wednesdays. This year, there are seven first fifteens playing in the championship and it will be decided tomorrow on the outcome of the Christchurch Boys’ High School-Cashmere High School game. Boys’ High School could go on to achieve a fine double, for it is leading the under 19 grade, although University A is one point behind and has a game in hand.
