Snell “Not Interested”

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. August 9. The world record-holder, P. G. Snell, will not compete in the Olympic “warm-up” meeting at Tokyo in October. He said today he was "not interested" in the invitation His current training was aimed at the summer season in New Zealand and he intended to exclude anything else Athletes invited to race in New Zealand this summer include two opponents for Snell—the American. Carv Weisiger. and the outstanding French runner, Michel Jazy.

The New Zealand player. J. R. McDonald, had a close match with the second seed. D. Dell, In the Middle Atlantic invitation tennis championship Associated Press reported. McDonald was beaten 3-6 6-3, 6-4.
