No Twins In July
Admissions to St Helens Hospital in Christchurch last month totalled 157. and deliveries 122, compared with 158 admissions and 136 deliveries in July last year. No twins were born at the hospital last month.
Leeston Premises Entered. —Three businesses at Leeston were broken into on Wednesday night. Burglars took £6 10s from the Leeston Motor Company, entering the premises by forcing a window. The premises of G, McClatehie and Company were ransacked, but nothing was stolen. Nothing was stolen from Harley Motors.
