Better Name

(technical arts unit) at the Girls* Training Centre at Burwood was to have been named a technical arts block. “But we realised that parents would not like their girls going to the T.A.B. every day so we changed the name to technical arts unit, which is a term used extensively in the United States,” said the principal of the centre (Mrs K, Ford) at the opening ceremony on Saturday.
