Suggestions By Wholesalers (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. August 2 The president of the Wholesale Fish Merchants’ Association (Mr J D Olsen) called on the Minister of Marine (Mr Gerard) today with suggestions regarding the duties of the proposed fishing industry board. He took to the Minister recommendations of the association's annual meeting held last week in Wellington “The board should function as an autonomous body with sufficient money to engage in practical research into fishing and the processing and marketing of fish." Mr Olsen said The Fish Merchants’ Association will hold another special meeting next week to discuss the Australian marke’ for fish. Exports at present consist only of a small amount of fresh-frozen tarakihi, gurnard and similar fish
