Greater emphasis hss been placed on trees and shrubs tn a revised system of marking for the judging of gardens by the Christchurch Beautifying Association A wide selection of shrubs and trees is available today, savs a report from the Association and at a recent executive meeting it wu decided that mere importance should be attached to there, aMtough gardens should still contain a good percentage of permanent planting. Points, out of a total of a 100 in both cases, win now be allocated as follows:
